Masked Parade
We are busy getting ready for the Masked Parade on Friday! Tatiana did an amazing post about it on her blog- have a look here- be sure to leave her a comment to let her know what you think. :)
Remember the Masked Parade is this Friday, October 18th. We are meeting at Montgomery Square at 5pm. HSS has been allocated to row B11. Students need to be wearing all black or dark colours if possible, and have masks and shields ready to go (we will send those home on Friday afternoon). Parents need to stay at the parade and collect their children from the meeting point at 6:30 promptly.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Prime Numbers
If you need help with your maths homework question this week, check out these links for some definitions and examples:

If you don't know what a prime number is, this is a great opportunity for you to teach yourself! I always try Googling the topic with the word 'kids' to get simple definitions/examples (E.G. "prime numbers kids"). Please leave any other helpful links you find in the comment section below- we'd love to see other websites or videos that you find helpful!

Welcome to Term 3!
Welcome back to school! We have already been very busy here in Room 6, and we are loving our new topic about survival and the test of time. Last week we were discussing things that have and have not stood the test of time. We had some great conversations about forms of communication that have died out so we decided to do some research and create mini presentations on what we found.
Check out some examples of our work:
